Found this at the grocery store today, turned to the nutrition label thinking “lol wouldn’t it be funny if this wasn’t vegan?”, and basically wanted to barf.
Jif Peanut Butter with Omega3 and DHA: Furthering omnivores’ ridiculous ideology that Omega3s are only found in fish.
Ingredients: MADE FROM PEANUT BUTTER [ROASTED PEANUTS, SUGAR, CONTAINS 2% OR LESS OF: MOLASSES, FULLY HYDROGENATED VEGETABLE OILS (RAPESEED AND SOYBEAN), MONO AND DIGLYCERIDES, SALT], ANCHOVY AND SARDINE OIL, TILAPIA GELATIN, TOCOPHEROLS AND CITRIC ACID (ANTIOXIDANTS)

After being a commuter into NYC taking the bus and train to work every morning, I can certainly relate. Especially to tip #3. Getting angry and pissed off won’t do any good, and it will likely aggravate the other passengers near you! Just take a deep breath, and make sure to contact your place of work/clients letting them know you might be late.
My top 3 are:
- getting plenty of sleep, at least 7-8 hrs per night!
- drinking plenty of liquid (especially hot herbal teas; a glass of red wine/day is good too for the antioxidants!)
- Carry anti-bacterial hand gel with you and use it often! (especially if you live in a city w/ a lot of public transportation. Yes, those rails & poles on the subways are covered in germies. yuck!)
